Stationery Stories - Emma & Dec
This week on our new blog feature 'Stationery Stories' we are looking at the stunning 2018 wedding of Emma & Dec. On a crisp and fresh August day they married at Glasgow University Chapel before heading to Harelaw Farm for their reception.
A wedding filled with lovely intricate details, personalised bridesmaid gift boxes, subtle floral touches and a tasty looking cake table. Our stationery vision for the couple was brought to life by the fabulous team at Lemonbox Studios who set the scene for a rustic and relaxed atmosphere at Harelaw Farm.
Emma & Dec came to us with the brief of soft, romantic and rustic with French grey tones. This brief worked perfectly with their venue and we went to work creating them a truly unique invitation suite. We worked with them from the Save the Date, invitations, on the day stationery and thank you cards, for this we designed a crest with their initials which we stamped on various items of stationery for the day, including the seals of the confetti envelopes and a wax seal added to the floral front of the design. The crispness and subtlety of the stationery design was exemplified beautifully in the floral arrangements for the day by Myrtle & Bracken the two worked exquisitely together.
One item of their stationery package that receives a lot of love are the personalised blush pink and rose gold gift boxes that were made for the bridesmaids. Such a wonderful and unique keepsake for the maids to cherish and something we loved making!
Thank you so much to Emma & Dec for letting us share their special day and the story behind their stationery. We will be sharing more weddings as the weeks progress highlighting just how much stationery can add to your wedding day.
